Here is an easy step by step guide to cleaning your lounge quickly yet efficiently:

1. Put all the Christmas decorations down and take the Christmas tree apart, neatly putting them away in the cupboard or loft. It is amazing to see how much room is taken up by Christmas decorations and remarkably to finally see how much room you have after they are gone.
2. De-clutter.  Once you have taken the Christmas decorations away you will see things you have never noticed before and probably would never see. Get rid of that pile of magazines you haven’t read in ages.

4. Vacuum or mop. Whether you have laminated or carpets the floor will be in desperate need of a clean.
