Find the right scrubber dryer

Choose what matters to you. Leave any option as Any for a wider selection.

Choosing the right scrubber dryer can make a significant difference to both the quality and efficiency of commercial floor cleaning. With machines ranging from small compact floor cleaners to larger walk-behind and ride-on scrubber dryers, it isn't always obvious which model is best suited to your requirements.

The ClickCleaning Scrubber Dryer Machine Finder has been designed to make that decision easier. Instead of comparing dozens of machines and technical specifications, you can narrow down the range using the features that matter most to you.

How does the Scrubber Dryer Finder work?

Simply select the options that best describe your cleaning requirements. You can search by area size, power type, machine type, cleaning width, brand, traction drive and budget.

You don't need to answer every question. If a particular specification isn't important to you, simply leave that option as Any to see a wider selection of suitable scrubber dryers.

The finder will then display machines from the ClickCleaning range that match your selected requirements, making it easier to compare the available options.

Choosing a scrubber dryer by floor area

One of the most important considerations when choosing a scrubber dryer is the size of the area being cleaned.

A small compact scrubber dryer may be ideal for washrooms, shops, cafés, kitchens and smaller commercial areas, whereas larger warehouses, schools, leisure centres and industrial premises can benefit from machines with a wider cleaning path and greater solution and recovery capacity.

For very large areas, a ride-on scrubber dryer can significantly reduce the amount of time and physical effort required compared with a smaller walk-behind machine.

The finder allows you to select the approximate size of your cleaning area to help narrow down the options.

Battery or mains-powered scrubber dryer?

ClickCleaning supplies both battery and mains-powered scrubber dryers.

Mains machines can be a practical choice for smaller areas where access to electrical sockets is readily available. They can operate without having to consider battery runtime or charging.

Battery scrubber dryers provide greater freedom of movement because there is no trailing power cable. This can make them particularly useful in busy commercial environments, corridors, schools, retail premises, warehouses and other locations where a cable could restrict movement.

Some machines also offer flexible or hybrid power arrangements. Use the Power option in the finder to narrow the results according to your preference.

Compact, walk-behind or ride-on?

Scrubber dryers are available in several different configurations.

Compact scrubber dryers are designed for smaller or more congested areas where manoeuvrability is particularly important. Their smaller footprint can make them useful around furniture, narrow aisles and other restricted spaces.

Walk-behind scrubber dryers are an excellent choice for a wide variety of commercial cleaning applications. The operator walks behind the machine while it applies cleaning solution, agitates the floor and recovers the dirty water.

For much larger areas, ride-on scrubber dryers allow the operator to sit on the machine while cleaning. Their larger tanks and wider cleaning paths can make them particularly suitable for warehouses, distribution centres, factories, shopping centres and other extensive floor areas.

Why does scrub width matter?

The scrubbing width determines how much floor the machine can clean during each pass.

A narrower machine can provide greater manoeuvrability and may be better suited to restricted areas, while a wider machine can cover open floor areas more quickly.

The ClickCleaning finder lets you narrow your search by cleaning width, from compact machines under 300mm through to machines with cleaning widths of 600mm and above.

Remember that a wider machine isn't automatically the better choice. Doorways, corridors, lifts, storage areas and turning space should also be considered.

What is a traction-drive scrubber dryer?

Some larger scrubber dryers incorporate traction drive, meaning the machine's movement is powered rather than relying primarily on the operator to push it.

This can be particularly beneficial when using larger machines for extended periods or when cleaning substantial floor areas. It can reduce operator effort and make the machine easier to manoeuvre during longer cleaning tasks.

If powered traction is important to you, select Traction Drive within the finder.

Compare scrubber dryers from leading manufacturers

ClickCleaning supplies professional scrubber dryers and floor-cleaning machines from a range of established manufacturers, allowing you to compare different machine sizes, specifications and price points.

The finder can be used to narrow the range by manufacturer if you already have a preferred brand, or you can leave the brand option open to compare machines from across the ClickCleaning range.

Find a scrubber dryer to suit your budget

Price can vary considerably depending on the size, capacity, battery system and specification of the machine.

The Budget filter allows you to concentrate on scrubber dryers within your preferred price range without having to search through machines that are outside your available budget.

However, price shouldn't be considered in isolation. A machine that allows an operator to clean a large area more efficiently may provide better long-term value than simply choosing the lowest-cost model.

Professional scrubber dryers for commercial cleaning

Scrubber dryer machines can be used across a wide variety of commercial and professional environments, including schools and colleges, offices, warehouses, factories, healthcare facilities, leisure centres, retail stores, hospitality venues, cleaning contractors and facilities management operations.

By washing, scrubbing and recovering dirty water within the same cleaning process, a scrubber dryer can provide a more efficient alternative to traditional manual floor mopping, particularly across larger hard-floor areas.

Not sure which scrubber dryer you need?

The Scrubber Dryer Machine Finder is designed to provide a useful starting point, but every site is different.

Factors such as floor type, floor condition, available storage, door and lift dimensions, obstacles, cleaning frequency and the total area being cleaned can all influence which machine is most appropriate.

If you're still unsure after using the finder, contact the ClickCleaning team. We can discuss your cleaning requirements and help you compare suitable machines from our range.

For larger machines or more demanding applications, it can also be beneficial to arrange a machine demonstration so you can see how a scrubber dryer performs in your own working environment before making a decision.
