Clover Comet is a professional low-foam extraction carpet cleaner designed to quickly clean, brighten, and revitalise carpets and upholstery, leaving a fresh fragrance without any damp or musty odours. Its advanced phosphate-free formula makes it ideal for use with spray extraction machines, delivering effective cleaning while being suitable for a wide range of water-tolerant fabrics and surfaces. The clear green liquid has a low viscosity, allowing it to penetrate fibres efficiently and lift dirt, grease, and general soiling with ease. It can also be used as a pre-spotter to break down heavy greasy deposits before full extraction cleaning, improving overall results. Ideal for use on carpets, upholstery, and other washable textiles, Comet is widely used in commercial and domestic environments including offices, hotels, and public spaces. It is particularly effective for restoring heavily soiled areas, routine maintenance cleaning, and pre-treatment of traffic lanes or stains prior to extraction cleaning. For best results, dilute according to the level of soiling: for normal cleaning use at 1:80, for heavy duty cleaning use at 1:40, and for pre-spotting apply at 1:5. DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Before use vacuum carpet thoroughly and pre-spot COMET using a trigger-spray, at a dilution rate of 1:5. Using a professional spray extraction machine, apply COMET solution diluted at a rate of 1:80 for normal use, up to 1:40 for heavy duty use, in slow, steady motions. Do not rub into carpet and ensure you have extracted as much liquid as is possible. Before replacing furniture allow carpet to dry thoroughly. N.B. Always test on an inconspicuous area for colour-fastness before use. Never use on materials which require dry-cleaning.
