Selden V500 V-Mix Bactericidal Cleaner is a highly concentrated professional cleaner and sanitiser designed for catering, healthcare and other hygiene-critical environments. It combines effective cleaning with powerful bactericidal and virucidal performance and is suitable for use on all water-washable surfaces. V500 is fragrance-free and non-tainting, making it particularly suitable for kitchens, food preparation areas, canteens and other locations where fragranced cleaning chemicals may be undesirable. Selden states that V500 is effective against bacteria, enveloped viruses and Norovirus, and it has been tested to EN 1276 and EN 14476. How to use the Selden V-Mix system V500 is supplied in Selden's convenient 1-litre V-Mix dosing bottle. Rather than free-pouring concentrated chemical, the bottle has an integrated 10ml dosing chamber, helping staff achieve a consistent dilution and reducing unnecessary chemical consumption. To prepare the solution, squeeze the main bottle to push concentrate into the small reservoir at the top. Once the reservoir is full, tip the measured dose into a trigger spray bottle or bucket containing water. For larger buckets, additional doses may be required depending on the application. For spray-and-wipe cleaning and bactericidal performance to EN 1276, Selden specifies one 10ml V-Mix dose into a 750ml trigger bottle, with a 30-second contact time. For efficacy against Norovirus, Selden specifies four 10ml doses into a 750ml trigger bottle and a 5-minute contact time.
